Kid's Karate, Taekwondo & Self-Defense Classes
Our mission is to provide students with the skills, energy and confidence to pursue their dreams and to make a useful contribution to the world. We use positive encouragement to build your child's confidence and abilities. Empowering words like “Yes!” and phrases like, “You can do it! replace defeating words like “don't,” “can't,” and won't”. In addition to verbal praise, our students earn stickers, patches, and stripes on their belts to reward and reinforce their best efforts. We even have a reading program to encourage academic achievement. The teacher is everything. Our Black Belt instructors are carefully chosen for their expertise and their abilities to connect with children. Our job is to help your child excel. This includes earning his/her black belt.

Adult Karate, Taekwondo & Self-Defense Classes
Adult Taekwondo classes are held on a regular basis at times convenient to most working adults. Classes provide training in classic Songahm Taekwondo, weapons training, grappling and self-defense techniques. The adult class provides martial arts training and gives an excellent fitness and aerobic workout. A typical class begins with warm-up and stretching exercises. These routines allow the students' muscles to work at optimum performance, reducing stress and possible injuries. Following warm-ups, the class practices basic Taekwondo to reinforce, improve and learn new kicking and punching techniques.

Karate & Taekwondo Birthday Parties
At "Family Martial Arts" we think hosting birthday parties is a great idea for introducing families to Karate and Taekwondo Training. Many children would would never have any experience with Martial Arts get the opportunity to "get there feet wet" in a real, live Martial Arts Club. Our birthday parties are fun, exciting, and will never be forgotten!

Professional Leadership
At "Family Martial Arts" we only have the best when it comes to instruction! All our instructors must go through the ATA Leadership & Certified Instructor Training Program. Our instructor are required to complete a minimum of 300 hours of supervised insruction, able to demonsrtate all physical material up to their current rank and must pass a full background check.
