Improved Monthly Recurring Revenue Report Offers Deeper Insight

Understanding the true value of your recurring income is essential for planning, forecasting, and growing your membership site. That's why we've enhanced the Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) report to offer more accuracy, clarity, and insight into your revenue trends over time.

Unlike standard transaction reports, the MRR report calculates recurring revenue across all paying members for a given month—even if no transaction occurred during that specific period. For example, members with annual subscriptions are now factored into the report by spreading their payment evenly over 12 months. So if you're viewing April 2025, the MRR includes one-twelfth of any annual payments made between April 1, 2024, and April 1, 2025.

This provides a more consistent and realistic picture of your monthly income potential. To make things even clearer, we've added detailed MRR breakdowns below the chart. Just click on +MRR Detail to reveal the specifics for each month.

Inside each month's tab, you'll find four helpful breakdowns:

  • Total MRR (Blue Box): The overall calculated recurring revenue for that month.

  • New MRR (Green Box): Members added to the MRR this month but not in the previous month.

  • Retained MRR (Yellow Box): Members included in both the current and previous month.

  • Churned MRR (Red Box): Members who were part of the MRR in the previous month but not in the current one.
