Improved Print Functionality for Content Pages

MemberGate's print functionality has been updated to provide a better experience for members who want to print content from your site.

Previously, selecting the print option would open a separate printer-friendly page on a different URL. While this removed some unnecessary page elements, users still needed to manually select the print option from their browser menu to complete the process.

With the updated functionality, members can simply click the print option and immediately access their computer's print dialog window. From there, they can print the page, save it as a PDF, select a printer, or adjust other print settings without any additional steps.

The printed output has also been improved. When a member prints a page, MemberGate automatically removes elements that are not relevant to the content itself, such as navigation menus, sidebars, buttons, and other on-screen interface components. This allows the printed version to focus entirely on the article, lesson, guide, recipe, tutorial, or other content being viewed.

The result is a cleaner and more professional document that is easier to read, save, and reference later. This is especially valuable for educational sites, training programs, reference materials, recipes, worksheets, checklists, and any content that members may want to keep for offline use.

By reducing unnecessary clutter and simplifying the printing process, the updated print functionality helps members get more value from your content while creating a smoother overall user experience.
