Updated Email Styling Options
MemberGate's Email Styling settings have been updated to make it easier for site owners to control the appearance of HTML emails sent from their site.
Site owners can continue to choose whether emails should use HTML styling. If HTML styling is enabled, additional options become available for customizing the appearance of outgoing email messages.
A More Streamlined Email Styling Experience
The Email Styling area has been refined to make the available settings easier to understand and work with while still providing flexibility for sites that want their emails to match their branding.
Rather than simply reducing the number of options, the updated layout focuses on presenting the styling controls in a more organized and intentional way.
Customize the Look of Site Emails
The styling options allow site owners to control the overall appearance of HTML email messages, including the header graphic, fonts, colors, buttons, background, alignment, and other visual settings.
The updated controls continue to include familiar options such as:
- Email header graphic
- Body font color
- Body font size
- Body font face
- Body background color
- Button shape, colors, border, and font size
- Email alignment
- Email background color
A dedicated Email Link Color setting has also been added, making it easier to control how links appear inside email messages.
More Flexible Email Borders and Spacing
The email border controls have also been updated to provide more flexibility.
Instead of relying on one general border setting for the entire email layout, site owners can now configure individual border settings where needed. Border width, style, and color can be adjusted, along with options for rounded corners.
Additional spacing controls also make it possible to add space above or below the email body without needing to make changes directly inside the email content.
Easier to Configure
The goal of the update is to make HTML email styling feel more approachable while still giving site owners control over how their messages are presented.
Sites that only need simple styling can quickly configure the basic colors, fonts, buttons, and background settings without having to work through every available option.
Sites that want a more customized design can use the additional border, spacing, alignment, and appearance controls to fine-tune the email layout.
Keep Email Branding Consistent
These settings apply styling to HTML emails generated through MemberGate, helping site owners create a more consistent experience between their website and the messages sent to members.
Whether the goal is a simple branded email or a more customized layout, the updated Email Styling section provides a cleaner and more flexible way to control the appearance of outgoing messages directly inside MemberGate.
