Gift a class

A gift page for cooking schools, studios and any business that sells experiences as presents. It opens with an inviting image hero, sets out gift amounts and a membership gift as plans, suggests the right gift for each kind of person, explains how giving and redeeming works in three steps and answers the questions buyers ask about delivery, expiry and refunds. The sample sells gifts from a Portland cooking school. Set up your gift amounts as plans, change the occasions and terms to match your own, and swap in your photos.

Who is it for?

A few ideas from our front desk, where we help with hundreds of gifts every December.

The new cook

Just moved into their first place? Knife Skills 101 is the class that changes everything else.

The couple who has it all

Skip another candle. A date night class gives them an evening together and a dinner they can make again.

The parent

A Young Chefs gift for the kids means a free Saturday morning for the grown-ups.

The friend far away

A Kitchen Club year lets them cook with Chef Elena from anywhere in the country.

Three easy steps

How it works

  1. Pick an amount and a delivery. Send it by email straight away or on a date you choose, or have us mail a printed card in a kraft envelope. Mailed cards ship within one business day.

  2. Add a personal note. Write a message and we will print or send it with the card, along with a short guide to our classes.

  3. They book their class. Your recipient enters the gift code when booking online, or calls us at (555) 014-2290. Any balance stays on the code for next time.

An older couple tasting a sauce together at a cooking class

I gave my dad the date night class for his and my mom's 40th anniversary. They came home with a tiramisu recipe and have made it every Sunday since. Best gift I have ever given.

Gift card questions

How long is a gift card valid?

Gift cards can be used to book any class for 12 months from purchase. After that, the money paid never expires and can still be used toward a class at full value.

Can the recipient choose their own class?

Yes. Gift cards are for an amount, not a date, so they can pick any class with open seats, including private events.

What if the class costs more than the card?

They pay the difference when booking. If it costs less, the balance stays on the code.

Can I get a refund on a gift card?

Gift cards are non-refundable, but we are happy to change the recipient's name or email before it has been used.

What if the card gets lost?

Email us with your order number and we will resend the code. Unused balances are always safe.

Last-minute gift? We have you covered

Email gift cards arrive in minutes, even on the day itself.
