Puppy course sales page
A sales page for dog trainers, puppy schools and pet coaches selling a structured puppy course, in person or online. It opens with an image hero, names the problems new puppy owners face, lays out the six-week syllabus in an accordion, plays a sample lesson, introduces the trainer, shares owner stories and ends with course options and an FAQ. The sample sells a Raleigh dog training school's puppy course. Change the weeks to your own syllabus, add your sample video, and your course plans appear in the pricing section when you add the page.

Puppy Foundations from Good Dog Academy
Raise the dog you dreamed of, starting this week
A six-week course for puppies aged 8 to 20 weeks. Potty training, biting, sleep, sit, come and walking nicely, taught with kind, science-based methods.
The first months with a puppy
Sound familiar?
You are not doing it wrong. Every puppy does these things. Here is how we fix them.
Needle-sharp teeth
Your hands and ankles look like you have been through a hedge. We teach bite inhibition and redirection in week one.
Accidents indoors
A simple schedule and the right rewards get most puppies reliably house trained within three weeks.
Night-time crying
A crate plan that helps your puppy settle, so everyone in the house can sleep again.
Selective hearing
Name response and a recall game that make coming back to you the best thing in your puppy's day.
What your puppy learns
The six-week syllabus
One group class a week in Raleigh or online, plus short daily practice videos you can follow at home.
Week 1: Settling in
Crate training, a potty schedule that works, handling for vet visits, and redirecting play biting. Your puppy learns their name.
Week 2: Focus and sit
Marker training with a clicker or a word, sit, eye contact, and calm greetings so your puppy stops jumping on visitors.
Week 3: Down and settle
Down, a relaxed settle on a mat, and how to build quiet time into a busy household.
Week 4: Come when called
A rock-solid recall game, leave it, and safe off-leash play in our fenced training yard.
Week 5: Leash manners
Wearing a harness happily, walking beside you, and what to do when your puppy pulls or stops.
Week 6: Out in the world
Socialization field trip to a pet-friendly store, a confidence course, and your puppy's graduation with certificate.

In this short lesson Chris shows you how to teach sit using a lure, then fade the treat so your puppy sits for a hand signal alone.
Every lesson in Puppy Foundations is like this: short, clear and filmed in a real home with a real puppy, mistakes and all.

Lead trainer
Your trainer, Chris Nakamura
Chris is a certified professional dog trainer and has worked with more than 3,000 puppies since founding Good Dog Academy in Raleigh. He uses reward-based methods only: no shock, prong or choke collars, ever.
Before training dogs full time, Chris spent six years at an animal shelter matching rescue dogs with new families. He knows the first few months set the tone for the next fifteen years.
Our doodle, Pepper, was biting everything and crying all night. By week three she was sleeping through and sitting at the door. Chris is endlessly patient with the humans too.
We did the online version from Asheville and it was fantastic. The daily videos made it easy to keep going, and the live Q and A answered everything.

Questions
What age should my puppy be?
Between 8 and 20 weeks when the course starts. Older than that? Our Adolescent Manners course is a better fit.
Does my puppy need vaccinations first?
For group classes, yes: at least the first round of the core puppy vaccines, given 7 or more days before the first class. Our vaccination policy has the details.
Can the whole family come?
Please do. Up to three family members can attend each class, and children over 6 are welcome with an adult.
What if we miss a class?
Join the next running class that week, or watch the recording and send us a video of your practice for feedback.
Do you offer refunds?
Get a full refund up to 7 days before your first class. After that, we can move you to a later start date.
Puppies grow up fast. Start now.
The next group class starts in two weeks, with eight spots per class.
