Graduate showcase

A showcase page for course creators, coding schools and training memberships that want their students' work to do the selling. It opens with a striking image, shows graduate projects in a gallery with captions, backs the work up with outcome numbers, describes a few graduates' paths from their old careers to their new roles, and lets graduates speak for themselves before a closing call to action. Swap in your own students' projects and stories, with their permission, and refresh the numbers each year.

Capstone projects from the class of 2026

Every capstone is built by a team of graduates, for real users. Select a project to see it larger.

Where they started, where they are now

Dana Kowalski

Before: 7th grade science teacher in Spokane. Now: Front-end developer at an education software company, building the tools she used to teach with.

Arturo Medina

Before: line cook and kitchen manager for nine years. Now: Web developer at a restaurant ordering platform, and still the best cook on his team.

Beth Lindqvist

Before: long-haul truck driver, learning on a laptop at rest stops. Now: Junior software engineer on a logistics team, working from home in Boise.

In their words

The capstone was the first time I felt like a developer rather than a student. In my interview, we spent 40 minutes talking about ShiftShare and five on my resume.

GGrace MwangiClass of 2026, Junior Developer

Sam's code reviews were brutal and kind at the same time. Every line he flagged was a question I got asked in an interview later.

KKenji MorimotoClass of 2026, UI Engineer

I was 46 and sure I'd left it too late. The career mentors had placed people older than me. I start my second developer job next month.

OOmar HaddadClass of 2025, Software Engineer
