Careers: join our team

A careers page for small teams hiring instructors, mentors, support staff and engineers. It opens with the mission and a team photo, sets out the values you hire for, lists benefits clearly, describes each open role with its pay range and location in an accordion, adds a word from someone on the team and finishes with an application form. Rewrite the values in your own words, keep the roles accordion current as you hire, publish honest pay ranges, and choose your application form when you import it.

Careers at Codecraft Academy

Help people change their lives, one line of code at a time

We're a team of 24 teachers, engineers and mentors, based in Seattle and working across the US. Four of us learned to code here first.

What we value

These four come up in every interview, every review and most of our arguments.

Students first

Every decision starts with one question: does this help someone get hired? If the answer's no, we don't do it.

Honest by default

We publish our real outcomes, our pay ranges and our mistakes. We'd rather lose a sale than mislead someone.

Teach to learn

Everyone teaches something, from engineers running a code review to support writing a help guide.

Calm, not crunch

Career changers have enough stress. So do we. Sensible hours, no heroics, and we plan for that.

Jenna Park, a member of the team

I graduated from the Front-End Track in 2023 and joined support six months later. Now I lead the support team. Nobody here has ever made me feel like the former barista in the room, and when I wanted to learn more, they paid for it.
