Yes, you can hide pages on your site and not have them show on the site map or in any search results by settings the status to 'Inactive (hidden)'
1. Pages can be edited under Content Pages Edit Page
2. Choose the page to edit
3. Under the Settings section, select 'Inactive (hidden)' from the 'Page Status' field.
4. Click on the button
If a user tries to visit an inactive (hidden) page, they will automatically be redirected to the home page of your site.
