Yes, you can track the number of times a file has been downloaded.
1. Under 'Downloads' choose 'Edit File'
2. Select the file which you are interested in viewing from the drop down menu
3. The very top line gives the status of the file EG:
File Number: 42 times downloaded: 4 Status: a
