Admin access for the discussion forum can be enabled within the member's account details.
Follow these Steps
Edit Member Details
A member's information be edited under Members Edit Members Details
Edit the Member
Add an identifier for the member in the appropriate field and select 'Edit' to enter the member's details.
Forums Admin
Under the Account Details section, click the Forums Admin box so that the box is checked.
Save
Click on the button.
