MemberGate's form system has taken a big step forward.

Previously, MemberGate could process and deliver form submissions, but the form itself had to be created manually. Once a form was submitted, the information was primarily delivered by email, which meant responses could quickly become scattered across inboxes.

The new Form Generator brings the entire process together inside MemberGate.

Site owners can now create custom forms through a visual builder, collect the information they need, and keep those responses organized in the MemberGate Control Panel. Forms can be arranged and customized without having to build the underlying form from scratch.

Turn Form Responses Into Useful Records

One of the biggest improvements is what happens after someone clicks Submit.

Responses can now be retained in MemberGate, creating an ongoing record of the information collected through each form. Instead of searching through old email messages to find a response, site owners can return to the form submissions, review the information, and export it when needed.

That makes forms much more useful for things like applications, registrations, feedback, questionnaires, member requests, surveys, and other information that may need to be referenced again later.

Keep the Follow-Up With the Submission

Form submissions can also become the beginning of a conversation.

From the submission record, site owners can reply to the person who completed the form without leaving the MemberGate Control Panel. Those replies are retained with the original submission, helping keep the response and the follow-up together in one place.

That means a form submission is no longer just an email notification. It can become a complete record of the interaction.

Create a Better Experience for the Person Filling Out the Form

The new system also gives site owners much more control over the experience surrounding the form.

Forms can be styled to better match the site, shown to the appropriate audience, followed by a custom thank-you experience, and paired with confirmation messages so the person submitting the form knows their information was received. The system also includes options for spam protection and storing submissions within the MemberGate Control Panel.

From Simple Forms to a Complete Workflow

The real change is not simply that MemberGate can now build forms.
