Sometimes it is necessary to shorten a long URL. There is a built in functionality called 'Snip URL' that will make a long URL shorter so that it can be used in different circumstances.
The Snip URL functionality is perfect to use when posting to character limiting social media sites like Twitter.

The Snip URL management can be found under > Utilities > Snip URL

Paste the URL to shorten into the 'Long URL' box.
