Edit the Billing Failure Message

A billing failure email message is automatically sent to members on a recurring billing plan whose credit cards fail to process. These billing failure messages can be customized.

There are three boxes:

  • Credit Card Billing Failure Message - First Attempt

  • Credit Card Billing Failure Message - 7 Days

  • Credit Card Billing Failure Message - 21 Days

Custom Subject Line

Enter the first line of the message as |subject start| Message Subject Here |subject end|

 

Embed the Customers Name

To embed the customers name in the message, use |firstname|, |lastname| or |title| wherever you would like them to be in the billing failure message.

Prevent the Billing Failure Message from Sending

There are times that you may not want the billing failure messages to be sent. 

To supress the billing failure message from sending, add |do not send| to the billing failure message box that should not be sent
