MemberGate's Video Player and Audio Player can be used on your pages with files connected that are stored or hosted with any online service. This allows you to use the built in responsive players to playback files stored anywhere.
Using the Audio or Video Player with your files hosted outside of MemberGate allows you to save hosting space as well as bandwidth by not requiring your large audio and video files to be stored on your hosting account. They can be streamed directly from the outside hosting company.
If you do store your mp4, flv or mp3 files with another service, it is no longer required to use a third party player to stream from your MemberGate site. Everything can be connected directly from your MemberGate control panel.
This is a great bonus for those using online services or third party products that do not offer a responsive media player. MemberGate's video and audio players are responsive so they will resize to the screen the user is viewing the media. They will not push out the screens on smaller devices.
