Customize the Colors of the New Forum

How to Update the Colors:

The colors of the cfmbb or 'new' forum can be customized so they match the look and feel of your site. Click on each section below to expand for more information.

1. From under 'Discussion Forums' choose the "Edit Forums"

*Please note that ALL CHANGES for the NEW FORUM take place within the "Edit New Forum" option within the Control Panel. All other Forum options relate to the OLD Legacy Forum.

2. From the left menu under 'General Settings' choose 'Settings' and select 'MemberGate' from the drop down box in the 'Theme' field.

Click the Apply Changes button

3. Under 'General Settings' click 'Theme Settings'

A new option in the left menu under 'General Settings' will appear.

It is called Theme Settings. 

Click that 'Theme Settings'option.

 

 

4. The hexadecimal colors for various parts of the forum are listed. Updating those colors will also change the color on the site.

There are two places within your control panel to find some examples of the colors used on your site:

1) Under 'Master Settings' choose 'Edit Master Template'

2) Under 'Master Settings' choose 'Edit Font Settings'

 

There is also a Colorwheel Tool that can be found under the 'Tools' header in the left nav bar. Choose that Colorwheel to find some hexadecimal color codes to use on your page.
