Custom Settings includes many functions that can be enabled or disabled on your MemberGate site. It is also the area to format the breadcrumb trail. 

Many of the settings in edit custom settings have full tutorials and and more descriptive information on other pages. The links to the other tutorials have been included as applicable. 

The Custom Settings can be edited under Master Settings Custom Settings

Activate Favorites Bar Adds a 'Favorites' bar to the top of your pages. This allows your member's to save their favorite pages.

Show Favorites in Profiles? Shows the member's favorite pages in their member profile pages. Choose 'yes' to allow the member's favorites to show in their profile
Enable Resource Directory? Allows the resource directory to show and function. Tutorial
Resources Access Set the resource directory for just members or non-members to view. Tutorial
Enable Classifieds? Allows the classified ads system to show and function. Tutorial
Classifieds Access Set the classified ads for just members or non-members to view. Tutorial
Integrate into Infusionsoft? Turn on the ability to connect to your Infusionsoft account. Tutorial
Dual Login Lockout Options Set under what behavior a member's account will be locked when logged in using two separate IP addresses. Tutorial
Two-Step Admin Login Options Set whether admin user account have to go through two steps to login to the control panel. Choose 'Yes' so an admin user has to go through two steps to get into the control panel.
Display Inline Results After a page has been edited or added through the control panel, the page preview can be shown inline or not. Select 'yes' to display the edited or added page inline as a preview.
Server Time Offset Change the time on your site. Tutorial
Login Page Nav Panels? Select the option to shown either your left, right or no navigational panels on your login page. Choose from the drop down menu to show the left nav bar, right nav bar, both or none.

Facebook Auto Login for Administrators? Disable (or enable) auto login for administrators. It leaves your site a bit more vulnerable because if you are logged into FB then your admin account stays logged in as well. Select 'Do not allow' to disable or 'Yes, Allow' to enable. 
Member Login Timeout If a member is inactive for X amount of time, the site will automatically log them out. This would prevent dual login lockouts if the member logs in using a difference device or computer to login again. Tutorial
Complimentary Payment Pages Set which content pages on your site contain a subscription form for a free member plan. Tutorial
Page Navigation Option? Select the type of 'breadcrumb trail' to be used on your pages. Tutorial
Home Page Phrase For the breadcrumb trail. This field is the name of the first word in the list in the breadcrumb trail (when using Option 2 in the breadcrumb trail) Enter the word you would like to see first on the breadcrumb trail.
Page Name Text Length When selecting Option 2 in the breadcrumb trail. The number of characters of the page name can be set. Enter a number for the number of characters to be included in the breadcrumb trail.
Page Name Text When selecting Option 2 in the breadcrumb trail, instead of the name of the page, some text can be shown in place of the text.  Enter a word or phrase to include on the breadcrumb trail. For example: Current Page
Page Navigation Text If you would like text to show in front of the breadcrumb trail, it can be added to your site using this field.  Enter text that would go in front of the breadcrumb trail.
Page Navigation Font Face Set the font type for the breadcrumb trail. Enter a font face.
Page Navigation Font Size Set the font size for the breadcrumb trail. Enter a font size.
Page Navigation Font Color Set the font color for the breadcrumb trail. Enter the hexadecimal color.
Page Navigation Link Color Set the font color for links in the breadcrumb trail. Enter the hexadecimal color.
Page Navigation Link Hover Color Set the font color when hovering over links in the breadcrumb trail. Enter the hexadecimal color.
Page Navigation Background Color Set the color for the background of the breadcrumb trail. Enter the hexadecimal color.
Activate Advanced Renewal Date Calculations Set you recurring billing so that the system will automatically retry members who have a billing failure. The member would be retried after 7 days and then again at 21 days. Tutorial
